Tim Carmean, CLU, Managing Director
Tim Carmean developed this North Houston office to consist of professionals of integrity who are dedicated to the financial success of their clients.

Tim joined Northwestern Mutual as a college intern in 1987. After graduating from the University of Houston with a degree in finance, he joined Northwestern Mutual full-time in 1989. He was promoted to Managing Director in 1996.

He has earned numerous company and industry awards including the Million Dollar Round Table for life insurance sales (Qualifying Member: 1995-1996, 1998, 2000; Provisional Member: 1992, 1994). Tim is also the recipient of the National Quality Award—National Association of Life Underwriters (1992-1996, 2000, 2002).

Tim Carmean is committed to upholding The Texas Financial Group—North Houston´s Mission Statement.

Tim is also a member of a number of professional and community organizations, including:

  • Houston Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors
  • National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors
  • Board Member Northwest Houston Chamber of Commerce

Tim and his wife of over 29 years, Brenda, are high school sweethearts. They have two children and live in Spring, Texas.

The District Network Office has been active since 1996.
